I'm 5' 11", 160-170 lbs. Pretty novice rider that has been renting until now. Able to carve, string turns, etc. just getting tired of spending the money on rental and trying to get a cheap used setup to keep learning on. Won't be riding that frequently, mostly free ride stuff, hanging with buddies on the mountain.
Looking at a 2007 burton jussi 159 cm in good condition with burton triad bindings. $150. I'm hoping to ride this out for a few years and actually drop the big bucks down the road depending on where I'm at with time, etc.
this is true. if your still learnings go with something a bit smaller. and like I said before the jussi is pretty stiff, the board might be a real handful to ride for you.
154 will work, just make sure it's not to soft. For reference I'm about your weight and use a 152 (Signal Park Flat) in the park and can cruise the mt. with it. My other boards are a 155 and 163.
And in terms of value of used boards. Is 150 reasonable for a barely used 08 burton custom without bindings?? How should I expect the value of the board to drop as it ages?
