Default Should I get a 59 Rome Anthem? Yay or nay?

I found a Rome Anthem 159 online for what seems to be a fair price. I'm wondering if it's the right board for me. According to the Rome website, this board seems tailor made for me but I wanted some real feedback. I'm 5'10, ~155 lbs, and I would like a stable high speed carving board. But I would also like one thats somewhat forgiving to cruise around with when I feel like it. Not gonna freestyle with it. I will mainly be riding in SoCal conditions... hard stuff and slush... no pow, only groomers. Will a 59 be too long/stiff?... I currently ride a 58 Forum which is a "4" on their flex scale and I want a more advanced board.

I saw a pic of the topsheet for the '09 model. Curious if they made any changes too the specs that I should hold out for...

Is $275 total (would be $255 shipped, damn CA sales tax!) shipped a fair price?

Thanks!

Dude that is steal on an Anthem and the board is F'n sweetzor. It sounds liek I should fit into exactly the type or fridaing you are looking to do. And like the wolf man there said the only thing that you have to consider is your boot size.

Thanks guys! Sounds good. I wear a size 9 boot so no worries there. The main reason I'm buying this now is I think I'll have outgrown my Forum Recon by early next season. Hell I think I've outgrown it already, more or less.

Is it safe to assume I won't "outgrow" this one for the life of the board? If so, I think this is a solid investment.
