well with end of season sale, you might be able to find some cheap boots. but i am not sure about 60 bucks...

i paid like 120 for my burton boots 2 years ago, but that was in the middle of season.

I went with the burton freestyles. Rome 390's look like great bindings, but the freestyles were half the price.

I'm not exactly hsure how good they would be. Personally, from what I've heard about the Burton Freestyles, I would at least spend an extra 10-15 or so and get the Ride LX or EX. Its one of the most important parts of your setup.

Board: Directional
Bindings: Burton Missions 07
Boots: Burton Freestyle 07

Oh well, I got the freestyles now. Are the Lx's better? If they are really that much better, I could probably exchange the freestyles for Lx's.
