This thing is lighter than my 158 Recon which is a cm shorter! Man there's a world of difference in the manufacturing between a premium board like this and an entry board like my Recon... at least to the naked eye. The curves on it seem so much smoother sculpted and subtle whereas the little details are more blunt and cut n pasty n angular (so to speak) on my Recon.
I think an emergency trip to Oregon is required to see if there are any factory defects within the return period! Hahaha. I'm dreamin'... Anyways.. a sticker on the base says it comes with Bluebird wax. And the base is definitely brushed. It's probably overkill to wax it for storage right? I say wax it. Once its on and cooled, go over it with the iron again...and scrape next season.
It'll be fast
