I have been happily riding a Burton Custom 149(not even sure if it exists anymore) for 18 amazing years. After outfittting my four kids with new boards, I have decided it is time for me. The local board shop recommended the K2 Ecolite. It looks awesome, but so does the Gnu pro B and the Never Summer Infinity. I don't do the parks, but love the to ride everything-groomed, back country, trees and moguls. I am 5'4" and like to think I weigh 140lbs. Looking for something fast that will help me make quick turns through the moguls and trees. There is a lot of new technology, so any insight will help. Leaving for Steamboat in a few weeks.

I regret getting rid of my first Custom (had Pegasus on it). I think it was a 94ish model. But I digress....the NS Premier (mens version of the infinity I think?) is great in the moguls. I noticed a difference right away with the rocker/camber setup on the NS boards...bombs right along on the groomers as well. However, any of these boards will feel much better than that old Custom at this point. Search reviews here as well. Good luck and welcome.

Go into Powder Tools in the base area of Steamboat ask for Bernie and tell him you want to demo some boards he will get you on something good.
