Banana Magics...what to do?
http://i386.photobucket.com/albums/o...81F2C40599.jpg
i now have a 152 and 157 banana magics i have 2012 union force MC strapped on the 157 is definitely more stable for speed runs, and i guess it turns a little bit harder than the 152 im more of a freerider... dont really do park... not yet into that im trying to decide if there is really a need for both 152 and 157 boards... theyre both all mountain boards... im not exactly sure what the 152 can do that the 157 cant? im not hurting for money or anything but i dont really want to keep 2 boards for no reason... ideas? thoughts? |
I could take the 152 off your hands. :D
|
Yea wouldnt mind taking either one of your hands. Would prefer the 157 because I already have a 153 trice pro hp... but thats the exact magic i was looking for.. one of the dopest looking top sheets ever.

One of my favorite boards.
I say get rid of one. No reason to have two of the same boards in different lengths. |
I have that 157 magic as well, wished the 54 was out when I bought it. Depends on what you want it for. Heavy powder days, of course the 57 is going to float a bit better, but if you stay with the 52 you may be wishing you kept the other. How much you weigh?

i bought the 52 brand new, i picked up the 57 just this week.
does the 152 have a real benefit over the longer 57 as a freeride board? im about 5'7-5'8, 170lbs |
The 57 will be more stable at speed, through chop, and float better. The 52 will turn a bit quicker and be a bit more playful. Shop suggested I file down the edges a bit to loosen it up, which I'm considering.....
