Default With all the helmets on sale now...need help with choosing one

Hey all -
Well my friends finally convinced me to protect my noggin for the upcoming season. With all the sales and discounts going on, I figured now is a good time. I went to dogfunk to check out what they had. I'm basically looking for your opinoins on which helmet to get. I'm looking for something 1) Light, 2) low profile and 3) comfortable. I don't want to look like a bobble head out there.

I'm probably looking for a white or black helmet (currently rock white Spy Goggles and off-white DC jacket (the white with red camo look).

Initially I was looking at Giro G9 or Bern Brentwood...however welcome all your opinions. Here is the link to dogfunk with a list of helmets to choose from Helmets from Dogfunk.com

THanks for all your help!

Really, you've gotta try them on. Find something that fits YOUR head. Look for something with vents.

I'll recommend the RED Hi-FI
life IS good.

Oops sorry forgot to mention. I do intend to try 'em on, however (as much as I'd love to support the local shops) they charge considerably more. I was looking for recommendations to look at (try on, then order online). Again, of course, if the local shop is only $10-20 more than I would for sure buy through them.

THanks for the suggestion on the RED...

Yeah I would go for the Hi-fi as well or the Trace. The Berns do look good but I couldn't get a good fit on them.

I also have a Red, and can vouch for the brand. Vents are important, and make sure there are enough to keep your head cool on a hot day, but they need to be able to close and keep your head toasty when it's comin' down too. I actually ended up just getting a second helmet for stormy days. (Apparently I like owning at least 2 of everything.)
