Question Keeping my board safe with a padlock?

I'm goign to andora soon and i hear that board theft is quite common there. just wondering if anyone has advice on locking up there gear outside a restaurant? What about a simply strap and then one of these weather proof types like on this padlocks website...

thanks guys

Yeah the little padlock things are not the greatest. Then again, what you are trying to do is make it just hard enough that the would be thief will just go grab another unlocked board. A lot of the resorts in the US offer a board check for a small fee. You could check if Andora offers such a service.

Demon makes these great stomp pads that secure to the board with epoxy. you put a regular cable lock through it and the binding and you can't get the stomp pad off without ripping the whole top sheet.

I say a bike lock. Basically like the dakine one above with the combo...$5-10 at walmart...its worth it. You can just lock the chain to a rack when riding

Board: Directional
Bindings: Burton Missions 07
Boots: Burton Freestyle 07
