Clearance Sale pick up, any good?

I went to a 2006 clearance sale last weekend and picked up a Morrow source 159 wide board, Zuma Bindings, and DC shoes Phase boots. For $500 Australian. I'm about 5'11, weigh approx 90kg (sorry don't know pounds) and am a size 10US. Main reason i got it was it appeared a good deal compared to what else they had there. pro boards were going for about $900 Australian on their own. Just wanna know some of your thoughts whether it was a good deal and if it'll suit me well. thanx

Jay...

P.S sorry if the pic doesn't work and if it does work sorry about the bad cropping.

You paid $700 US for a price point board, what I assume are price point bindings, and low end boots. If it were me, I would say I got screwed. If the season were coming up, I wouldn't pay more than $500 US on all that, especially if it's previous years' gear (and that's pushing it). However, I don't know what gear goes for in Australia, so that may be reasonable.

Ah, nvm. Didn't do a close enough reading, went with the $900 figure.

At $325 US, that's not bad. Not a steal and it's not of great quality, but you could definitely do worse.

You traded crap for crap which is from the same factory.

Go spend the money and get some Union Cadets, Rome Arsenals, Burton Customs.
Try on every pair of boots in the shop.
As far as boards look at the Never summer sl, Rome solution, Ride decade, burton clash, atomic cold smoke or discharger, etc. etc.
