body weight/binding
I've seen/heard much discussion about how board length is determined largely by body weight (coupled with riding style), but have never seen this discussed in relation to bindings. My question is, how much does body weight affect the flex of bindings? For example, it stands to reason that a 140 lb rider would flex a binding substantially less than a 220 lb rider, right? And if that's the case, might a binding that would serve a heavier rider well as a freestyle binding, work well for a lighter rider as a freeride binding? I know there are other variables, but am I off base here?
