bordersmall.com?

Has anyone ordered from bordersmall.com yet? They're the only site that I have seen that have Rome 390s in stock, and just wanted to know if this site was legit or not.

I have not. They look legit. I couldn't find a brick and mortar for them, but surfing through the site shows that they are based out of California. The one company I would watch out for is Board Paradise. They have been douching customers for the last year, and as far as I can tell, they continue to douche. Board Paradise owns tightboards.com, I have stickied a warning about them in the buy/sell forum. Otherwise I have no additional info on boardersmall. Use a credit card and if they don't deliver, you can dispute the charge if they won't refund or take care of you.

Yea thats true, thanks for the heads up on board paradise. I'll have to check out that thread about them. But just wondering still if anyone who has ordered from there ever had any problems.

Well from all the crickets chirping around here, I would say there is very little experience with them. I haven't heard anything bad, and most of these companies are legit. Again, if you use a credit card and they don't deliver, and act like douchenozzles, just dispute it. You are given your money back and not delivering goods is a good enough reason for your card company. Then you can move on to the next vendor. Backcountry.com has 390's in stock, but they are only the s/m's. I have a hunch you are looking for the large size.

I posted in your other thread about them. I used them and I am from the east coast of Canada. Shipping was fair and my board got to me in 7 days in perfect condition. And they also shipped the product as a sample/test board so I wouldnt be hit with brokerage/ duties fees.

Yea I've checked a lot of sites but most of them only have s/m and i need Large. I just read that thread about the whole tightboards company, just out of curiousity what ended up happening with them? Did they go out of business or anything like from posting it on teton?

O nice well sorry i may have missed your post hipbone, but thanks for the heads up. It's a little more comforting to hear that someone has ordered from them without any problems.

yeah its no prob. just wanted to make sure you dont miss out on a good deal from them because you are scared to buy. They do have some great prices and will adjust them even lower if you can provide proof that you can get it for a better price somewhere else.
