I'm 6'2", weigh 215, and size 12 boots. I just bought a 2012 Rossignol Angus in a 162 mid-wide from DJsboardshop. (2nd one I've owned, 1st one was damaged while traveling). It is great for free-riding, I rarely venture into the park. It's a perfect width for larger boot sizes like mine. I paired it with Forum Republic bindings (the-house.com) and have a very nice set up for $400 new. I couldn't be happier with this board and bindings for the type of riding I do. Almost forgot, using Burton Ion boots that are 10 years old but fit like a glove and they work great with the Republic bindings.

How responsive are the Republics with your Angus?

I too just bought the Angus (153- 160Lbs ) and was thinking about getting those bindings for it. Either that or the Cartels Re:Flexes. I bought the board for mostly free-riding also.
