[Help] Beginner Drop and Kicker - Snowboarding Forum

I've been scouring the internet tryin to find some help with this but no such luck. Figured I'd come to the experts.

I live in Delaware and it snows probably 2 weeks a year, and the time to play in it is minimal. So I'm lookin for a way to build a drop and a kicker, for less than $100, to minimize the time we spend building and maximize the time to mess around.

The area that we have to use is about 20-30 feet long. And it already has a decent incline. It's my backyard, so to please the parents I probably couldn't do anything over 6 feet. And it's for kids that are under 13, so something simple would be fine.

Any help is appreciated.

What should I make the surface? Can I just throw carpet over a skateboard ramp, to make the snow stick?
