Best time to buy board? - Snowboarding Forum

I just purchased my snowboard online recently haven't received it yet, =/ so i'm a lil stoked and go to some board shops to try on some boots and damnit! every board shop sent all their stock to their warehouse to be stored til like late sept. anyways this lead to my question because i assumed that most snowboarding gear was cheapest in the summer, but after my experience today i realized it can't be cheapest in summer if it is being warehoused, so when is it the best time to buy boarding gear in general
