First off sorry for the thread hijack, but I have a question on the subject and people are already putting out input. Anyways, I am 5'11 158lbs and I am debating 54/58. Will ride this on powder days at Whitewater and Red Mountain, lots of trees and such. Will also take it to Baldface end of March which is a mixed bag of everything. Only thing I know is I haven't had much issue with my DoA in about 20cm. Thank you, and sorry for the hijack.

Salomon Snowboards Powder Snake Snowboard - FREE SHIPPING
Use code SPRINGSKI to get it down to ~$190, then have EVO pricematch+5% off to get it down to $182. Super cheap powder quiver board.

I'm still trying to figure out what the big difference is between the Powder Snake and the Sick Stick is that would justify spending the extra cash.

Yeah, for that price I'd go that route.

Man, wish I had some money. I'd pick that up too.

What a slamming good deal. If I didn't already have a Cobra and live 7 hours away from good powder (Mammoth) I'd be on that.

Wow red, that is a ludicrous deal. Right when I get emotionally invested in getting a Charlie. I'm a tool.

Construction. Lots of bamboo in the Stick, none in the Snake, and the Stick is part of their green project I think.

I recently gave my 154 Charlie Slasher a decent workout in Japan's Powder and I weigh in at 70kg (155lbs).

I actually wrote up my thoughts on how the Charlie Slasher went here.
Hey Drc13 . . | Boardworld

A summary if you don't want to read it would be: Great board, loved that I could also take it to the groomers, 154 agility/versatility was great but it was sinkable (although I didn't set the bindings back further than the suggested spots so that could help) A+ build quality.

I also have a video full of footage of me riding the Charlie in a variety of conditions.
