too much characteristic overlap??

I have a man's board that i love. i ride a lot in VT and NY. Planning to move out west in a couple years. Ive been snowboarding since 97 & owned 1 other board but never paid much attention to the latest and greatest till a few years ago cuz i was racing bikes and didnt have the extra hobby money.

Im 5'10", 185-190lbs 8.5boots.
I ride fast. I love bumps, trees, carving hard and steeps. I drive all night to get powder when its available (not enough the last two years)
I will jump the occasional park roller but never consider rails or anything of the sort.

recently, Ive been considering a LibTech. After some scrutiny of their selection, I think a Banana Magic would be a nice step up. The idea of Magnetraction sounds awesome.

My question is: Would the banana magic just be really similar to the mans board for the way i ride? Im looking for something different to round out my riding options. Thank you for your advice.

Noah

How would we know the overlap with your current board that you failed to name?

16 NS West . 15 NS Snowtrooper BIA . 13 Salomon Pow Snake
15 Now Drive . 14 Burton Genesis
14 Flow Hylite
