I started riding last year and picked it up pretty quickly. I rode a 161 GNU CHB MTX board with a pair of mission bindings. I had several problems with the bindings and I picked up some 390s in the offseason for 90 bucks. Overall the board was good, but I started getting into more jumps/butters/boxes near the end of the season. I was looking to pick up an alternative board that I could have a bit more versatility in the park with. I am 6'1 170 with a size 11 boot. I was looking at the 158 Wide GNU Rider's Choice BTX Wide possibly. Any advice?

I'm 165 and I ride a 56 to 63 for park but thats my personally. For you 155 seems more ideal. The RC is a fairly stiff board. If you're looking for a park do all stick from Mervin look at the TRS or Dark series. If you're open to other brands k2 jibpan, k2 darkstar, never summer evo, ride concept ul, smokin mip, atomic hatchet, you could always take a look at my big review in the reviews section as well to get an idea of whats out there.
