say you met someone from Belfast; would you think they were british or irish?

or what if someone with a mad off scottish accent was chatting to you; would you consider them scottish or british?

have you seen the film 'twin town'? are the characters in it british or welsh?

i realise it is rude to ansa a Q with a Q and so to respond directly; the united kingdom of great britain is england, scotland, wales and northern island. those from such place are british.

however, the fact that no aspect of my family is from anywhere other than england, makes me english.

i have no animosity against those with whacky accents from my island.... but i am proud to be from where i am from.

and that is that.
