its one of those boards you can just have some fun on. its cheap so when you find a log or rock you feel like getting funky on, you dont cry the next day when you see your base. it got goodwood under 400 this year if that matters to you. under normal riding conditions, someone that goes up around 20 times a season will have the board for 2 maybe 3 years.
as far as recommending to my friends, depends on what my friends are looking for. If they're looking for a "ooh look a fun rock" board, then yeah I'd recommend it.
