Default So another what snowboard thread

First off hello everyone.

Looking for a bit of advice on a board selection. I have decided to take up snowboarding again after 18 years.

Just recently relocated back to my hometown which has a few ski hills about. Mostly looking for a few good boards for the east coast slopes. I live in western Mass near the Vermont and New York boarders. So looking for a board that can handle the ice.

Not to worried about boots and binding suggestions cause I will get what feels right to me. Now for a bit of back ground. When I first started boarding I rode a kemper (rampage) 156 in the early 90's and I also still have my first snowboard a burton air(it has the blue triangles on it think was 87/88 year model). I am 5'9" 170 lbs so I figure around 156-159 for board size. Will not be
in the park much if at all at least this year so not worried about a park board. I would classify myself as all mountain or free ride

For boards I have narrowed it down a bit to this list.(seem to be leaning towards never summer more then the others)
Forum Seeker
Never Summer Premier
Never Summer Legacy
Lib Tech TRS
Lib Tech Dark Series
Also kinda interested in the Rossignal JDub.

The Magna traction seems like it would do well for the icy conditions I will be dealing with. Do not think I will get a chance to test any of these myself as only a couple local shops and they do not do demos. Rentals I am sure will not be up to this caliber at the local bumps.

So any good suggestions for a board that I may have missed?
Also thanks burtonavenger for helping me narrow this down a bit just by reading your reviews.

The new legacy's side cut really grips well on ice in my opinion.
