I just finally decided to stop renting every year and bought myself a complete setup. I am not a beginner, have no problems getting down the blues, carving and small ollies. I rented a Burton Custom a couple times last year and was truly sppoiled from the crappy boards I had been renting (plastic tips, step in bindings, etc.).
I went for the Arbor Forumla 09. I am 5'8" and about 155 lbs. I decided to go for the 158 since it was listed as a beginner board and I wanted something I'd be happy with for years as I only board a few times a year right now. I paired it up with some Union Cadet bindings and a pair of K2 Raider Boa boots. Board should arrive tomorrow and I am hitting Stratton in Vermont this weekend. Got a sweet deal on everything from EMS. Arbor Formula 09 158 - 170.00 (shipped and ater taxes) Union Cadet Bindings - 83.00 K2 Raider Boa Boots - 80.00 Anyway, I amdefinitely interested in how your board is working out for you. I'll try to remember to post when I get back this weekend after my frist rides on my new stick. I think I'm gonna be real happy though. |

It's their entry level board, but based on what I know and have experienced with Arbor quality, it should still be a great board that will last you awhile.
