Is this a good board? this will be my second year snowboarding and i need a new setup. i usually ride park, so i want a board good for that, but i occasionally go to resort-type places so i want some thing good for the whole mountain i guess? but i will probably go snowboarding at that type of place only a couple times a year, so mostly park.
will this board suit my needs? |

From what I've heard, good board...it made the Transworld's Good Wood test this year.
Anyways, I haven't rode it, but apparently its a stiffer park board...stiffer in the middle, soft at the ends. Its $160 at Sierrasnowboard and $150 for the Sierra Crew, which is a relabeled Stairmaster if you ride a 155.

Transworld is a crock of shit.
Anyways that board is a stiffer park board for sure just like you stated. It has decent pop which is nice if you want to get boostacular but has an Extruded base which makes it ideal for jibbing. Since you're looking for a park board that you could occasionally take to a real resort this would be a good pick as well as the Atomic Hatchet. |
