inserts caused board deck to raise slightly - Snowboarding Forum

i have a 2011 LibTech T.Rice HP board and i think must have overtightened my bindings as the front inserts for the bindings have actually raised the surface of the board a slight bit. (see the attached picture).

after waxing last night there is also a minimal low spot under where the top raised.

has anyone ever seen this happen before and is there anything that can be done?

is there any risk to just riding it as is?

It's common. I wouldn't worry about it.

Yup, just loosen your binding screws when you store it at the end of the season as well.
