K2 WWW, Rome Artifact Rocker are probably the softest boards I've ever ridden. Rome Hammerhead might be close behind. Others might chime in Signal Park Rocker perhaps and a few others.
My brother has a Rome Artifact Rocker and I've used it before. Let me tell you, if you want a board softer than that, you should go to Target and buy one of those plastic boards that can basically fold in half without breaking. Seriously, the Artifact Rocker is ridiculously soft. You do NOT need anything softer.
Thanks a lot guys. But what are the advantages and disadvantages of a soft board?
And yeah David, Apo is a French company. So many people over here have one
Maybe ask BurtonAvenger about APO I think he might have ridden (or will be riding) a few of their boards. He is the one who mentioned them to me actually, but I don't have any avenues to demo them yet.
But what are the advantages and disadvantages of a soft board?
Soft boards generally considered better for jibbing & rails, but they sacrifice stability and edge hold/control at higher speeds, and are a lot more work in heavier/wet snow conditions.
Soft boards will make it much harder to land medium to big kickers as they will loop out on u and buck u back or forward unless u land perfectly centered. I ride a Rome artifact rocker and it is amazing for jibbing but makes u work on landings. I would go with something just below the middle of the road but above a noodle
