Also, what are the advantages and disadvantages of a board with lots of flex?

K2 WWW, Rome Artifact Rocker are probably the softest boards I've ever ridden. Rome Hammerhead might be close behind. Others might chime in Signal Park Rocker perhaps and a few others.

the artifact is like magically soft. On a scale of 1-10 1 being soft 10 being stiff it is a -4.

The Nug is actually on the stiffer side. Bataleon has some softer ones as does Lobster. I think Capita's horrorscope is their softest, but I don't ride much Capita so I can't say for sure. Gnu's Street Series, maybe. I've heard of APO but they're just making inroads to the US market I think, originally a France-based company, right?

Well looks like you are absolutely right. As much as we cover the topic, you'd think you'd be able to find some direct information.

It all comes down to personal preference. I hated the Horrorscope, a have a friend who loves it. He's also about 20lbs lighter than I am, but again, it's all personal preference.

My brother has a Rome Artifact Rocker and I've used it before. Let me tell you, if you want a board softer than that, you should go to Target and buy one of those plastic boards that can basically fold in half without breaking. Seriously, the Artifact Rocker is ridiculously soft. You do NOT need anything softer.
