Post NEWIE HERE!!! Please Help!!!

Well, I'm going to be in Beaver Creek (Colorado) this season and I wanted to try snowboarding.......so I decided to look for a board on the Internet and I found out there are HUNDREDS!! I'm amused of the huge amount of boards available!!

I tried to decide but......I'm lost!!

Let's start:
1) I want a cheap board right now (240 is the maximum)
2) I'll be doing downhill and I *may* try some tricks.......so I guess I should get a Freestyle board but not pure.....a Freestyle/Freeride. Versatility first!
3) I want it to be nice.....sorry, you will kill me for saying this but I want a beautiful board (nice prints and I prefer dark colors, black or dark blue would be great)
4) I'm 5' 7", my weight is 150 punds and my feet are size 8 I guess (40-41).

I've seen some pretty boards with nice reviews:
-Rossignol Sultan 2009
-Salomon Pulse 2008
-Lamar Cruiser 2008
-Sapient Evolution 2007 (I don't like it but I've heard rave reviews)
-K2 www (It's a bit more expensive at 250 but it's too pretty and the reviews are great)

Well, I don't know if that selection is good or not so I would be very thankful if you help me choosing my first board!!! Any ideas based on the 4 items I've mentioned would be great.

Also, I'm choosing the Head Classic Boots and the Flow Flite 3 bindings......is that OK?

THANKS A LOT!!!

Hi! I'm not getting Atomic bindings because I'll buy an Atomic board....the thing is where I'm going to buy the board they only sell Atomic stuff....

I've read the Black Russians are good......but I'm interested in the Rear Entry hybrid system of the Flow Flite 3.....are they good?

About the boots....I'm buying them in a shop when I get there. I don't want to spend much money ($150 top price) but I'll try some to see wich one I like.

Thanks!

Dude its DENVER there's so many shops. Emage, BC surf and sport, Christy sports, Colorado Ski and Golf. Google around the net you will find a plethora of shops that carry everything, and I mean EVERYTHING!

I don't live in the US so I don't have any idea about Denver or anything......I just felt like doing a four month trip LOL

Christy Sports is TOO expensive.......Colorado S&G has nice prices and I don't know about Emage.

Oh, and Snowolf thanks for the answer!

I'll get the Hatchet because many people recommended it to me and I don't know......it has a very good price, it's versatile and everyone seem to like it.

About the size......I don't know! What would you recommend me? Size 8, 150 pounds and 5' 7" tall, I'll be doing mostly freeride, I may try some freestyle later.

Hatchet has this sizes: 145, 149, 153, 156, 159, 162

And finally the boots.......I will try as many as I can and I'll buy the most comfortable ones and I'll also see if they are well done (nice material, strong, etc).

If you can afford 4 months to travel nothing is too expensive.
