New Board 3degree bevel..

Sup peeps, I just bought a new board for the season 09'Ride Kink which I'll be using in the park this season. Question is the board already comes with a 3degree bevel, should I still detune the sides a little or leave it be? Note that I ride in the east coast so icy conditions are always there.

detune the contact points only as you will need the rest of the edge mighty sharp.. (the barber shop in coming to america.) Most if not all new boards come from the factory razor sharp the whole length of the edge and they need to be detuned.
