Burton Sherlock 158w vs Process Flying V 159

Hey all - I recently purchased a burton sherlock 158wide and I think it might still be too narrow for my feet. I have size 12 feet (not huge) but there's about an inch overhang when i place the boot directly on the board (without bindings).

However, I used the process flying v 159 (not wide) and it seemed wider... in fact, looking at the dimensions, the waist is bigger on the sherlock but the nose and tail width are smaller.

Am i crazy? shouldn't the wide sherlock work for me?

PS i'm 6'1.5" 185lbs
