RIDE YUKON vs. NS LEGACY - Snowboarding Forum

Ive been riding for about 5 yeas now and im a larger than avg. rider 6'4 250 lbs 13 foot. I really only cruise but am trying to work on kickers but the saying goes the bigger they are the harder they fall, I WOULD KNOW. I had my eye on the legacy for a while but recently caught wind of the yukon, heard good things and went ahead and bought it, its the 172. I ride a 168 '03 Forum Raider prototype as of last season but now im wondering if i made the right decision passing on the legacy for the yukon. Any feedback?

Yukon isn't a board really built for kicker I mean you're a big boy but 172 is gynormous for what you're looking to do. The new Legacy would be better for what you're looking to do.

woah lol im 6-5 215 and im riding a 158 Destroyer Wide. Jeesus 172 that thing must be like a boat.

like i said i really dont do kickers but i want to make sure it can handle one every once and a while if i happen to feel so inclined.

Legacy will be better for that than the Yukon then.

well i guess its too late now, but whatever the yukon will still cruise real smooth right?

You'll be running over people on really small boards in no time. Its a solid ride for freeriding and in that size you're going to cruise at high rates of speed.
