Im 6 foot 2.5 inches tall and weigth 140 - 145 pounds... (yea Im skinny xD)... and well since im a beginner I want a board that is not really hard for my level, and that can keep up when I start to get better at it... (hope you can understand ) I had in mind the neversummer SL or the neversummer SL-R... whats the diference?? do you recomend that board for me?? is 155 a good size??? ... please I need your help before I buy anything... and another thing... what binds and boots you recomend???... hopefully you can help me with this.... any info will be good...thnx Last edited by davxx; 09-20-2008 at 06:04 PM. |

Welcome!
You have it backwards though, boots should be your first priority, then bindings, then board. Check the boot fitting guide for more info. As for bindings, it's personal preference. I have Rome 390s (as well as a few others here). A lot of people also like the Burton Cartels. It also depends on what kind of riding you do. As for the board, 155 may be too short for someone as tall as you. I am 5'10" and I ride a 156. You may be better off with something like a 160. I don't really know the difference between both boards, but I do know that Never Summer makes some of the best boards out there. |

FYI its the Never Summer SL not LS. The regular SL is last years model it doesn't have reverse camber, this years does. Hunt around you can find tons of reviews and talk about what that is. 155 is a great size for your weight you could even go with a 158 if you wanted to.
Bindings its going to come down to what you want performance wise and what boot you're using. Boots its going to be what fits your foot.
