Cant decide what board

Hey whats up everyone im new to the forum and pretty new to snowboarding. This season was my first full season and im hooked and looking to get a quality board. Im looking for a good all mountain board because i want to get into park and buttering. Im looking at the 2013 flow viper or the 2013 ride agenda. I google searched and checked the forum and i cant find any user reviews of the flow and the reviews on the Ride say that it chips and dings very easy. Also was told the Ride kink might be a good choice but same reviews that it chips and dings easy. So anyone have any first hand experience with either? Thanks in advance for any and all help

Don't fret over chips and dings. Any board you buy will get chips and dings if you ride it.

something else to keep in mind is the Agenda is basically ride's entry-level board, and the Kink is a price-point freestyle board so most of the people riding it are going to be abusing it on rails & jibs. I have not heard about the Viper but it also seems to be Flow's cheapest/most-basic snowboard which is probably why you won't find many reviews about it. I would say there are a few other Flow boards (Verve, Era) that are pretty highly-recommended on this forum. Maybe look in to one of those instead?

Not a fan of the way either board looks...i know chips and dings are going to happen but if its the top sheet will that have negative effects on the life of the board?

Nope, not if it's just the topsheet. Now, if the topsheet starts to really peel and expose some of the underlying wood, then it could be. but top sheet damage is easy enough to repair, so it's really not a big deal.

This for damn sure. Just ride the damn thing and ride it hard. Shit will happen. If I was worried about my board, I'd get rid of it. I don't want to be standing at the top of a line worried about hitting a rock, etc. Fuck it. Ride that shit and if it happens it happens. Fix it and move on.
