Hey, I'm sure a lot of these threads pop up, but I would appreciate some help.
I've been snowboarding for 10 years, and teaching for 7. So I should have an idea of what I want, right? NOT. I feel like I've been so out of the loop, that I have no idea what I'm looking at anymore. Here's the low down. I'm a 25 year old chick, 5'5" and 125 lbs. I've never really been a park shredder. I've always been sucked into the trees, steeps, bumps, and nature of the mountain. I recently quit my job teaching (drama within our state run mountain, not worth it to me $$ anymore), so this opens up opportunities to shred Vermont more and get out of NY. I'll be riding with new peeps, and I want to get into jibbing and playing around a bit more, all while keeping my love for the trees. So I'm thinking I'm going to go a bit shorter, and maybe go with a 152 (I ride a 155 now) and something more flexy. I'm not looking to buy a brand new '09 board, so seasons before will suit just fine. Help yo! =) |

^ She's still looking for an all around board.
Anyways I'd check out an all mountain freestyle board then in or around that size you mentioned. Board to consider atomic polarity, k2 mix, k2 duchess, never summer infinity, rome vinyl, bah I'm brain farting anyways look into those that might give you an idea.

Ok, so here's another question. I liked what I read about the Atomic, and would be a choice for sure. Now, deciding what size is an issue. Like I said before, I ride a 155 right now - but wanted to go a tad smaller. The Polarity comes in a 151 or 154. What would you suggest? I feel like 151 is too short, and 154 isn't really much of a difference from the 155. Opinion?

Go with the 151 you were considering a 152 and 1cm isn't a whole lot of difference.
