First time buyer for boots and bindings and board. need help..

Okay. I'm 6'0, 180-200lbs (it varies, never tops 200, never dips below 180), boot size is 12.
I don't really hit up park much, I might this winter a little but my main bread and butter will be Big Sky MT runs. I pretty much just carve and have fun. Do some drops off steep cliffs and jumps, but nothing more then 6-15ft, so nothing major.
Always ridden rentals or used boards I picked up at pawn shops for $45-50.

Anyone got good suggestions for boots/bindings/ and/or a board?

I was thinking $850 total for the three, less if I could get away with it. But I will be hitting the mountain almost every day, so quality is definately more important then skating by cheap.

there are plenty of all mountain boards out there that could work for you. You want a stiffer board and bindings if your not going to be jibbing or being park oriented as much. The boots, all i can say is thats a personal preference on based how it feels for your foot. A boot that could be great for me could be awful for you and vice versa so go to your local shop and try them all on. As for boards I could recommend you the k2 podium, possibly burton custom wide. Bindings maybe the k2 formulas. Just spitballing though.

Thanks. I like in Missouri way out in the country, but I'll make a specific trip to the city, it's a 4hr trip so gotta get everything researched first, to get boots. I was thinking, based off what I've read, so correct me if I'm on the wrong line of thinking, of a directional board. I'll end up trying stuff, but mainly I'll just be in the back country and ignoring park.

^ Give me your exact version of backcountry.

Sorry. When I said back country I didn't know what the term implied to everyone, just what myself and my friends used it to describe.

I called a shop and talked to some people that board alot more then me. They recommended the Rome Solution or Rome Anthem in a 161-163 range.
The boots & bindings I'll pick up in a shop tommorow, same as a helmet.

Thanks for the help folks
