Newbie here. This will be my 3rd season snowboarding so i guess i'm an improver. I'm 45 yrs old, weigh 180 and am 5'7" short. My question is in regards to board length. Last year, I bought a k2 select 153 and ride bindings from thehouse.com . My friends say my board is too short with the stance I should be riding. The board has 19" center markings. Can i just move my bindings further apart if indeed i should be riding a wider stance? Also, I was playing with stance angle last year. Right now i'm using +15 on the ft and -6 on the rear. Is this angle helping me or hurting me? I don't go near the park, just cruise the flats. Appreciate your help!

whatever feels the best is whats right
everyone likes something different just play around with stuff and keep changing it around til you find what you like the best ps - a 153 might be a bit short, im 170 and ride a 156.......but i plan on losing at least ten pounds Last edited by B-166-er; 09-28-2008 at 06:51 PM. |
