Thumbs up Second hand board, WHAT IS IT

hey i recently brought a second hand board and when i picked it up i found out that it has been re sprayed. its 160 x 25.5, im pretty sure its a lamar board. it has a flower imprint all over it. in a pattern goign down the board. Also, whats the best way of getting paint( i think its spray paint because it jsut scrates off with a blade) off without damaging the fiberglass on top of the board. cheers

I think worse is that you bought it... as in paid.

I wouldn't bother taking the paint off. I have a feeling any way whether scraping or using a solvent would only damage the board further.

It's just the top spraypainted, right? Cause if he purpled up the base, you might as well throw it out. Paint on the top won't matter that much, just look stupid, and it sounds like the board would anyway.

If you reaaally want it off I guess you don't have much choice other than to lightly wipe it with paint thinner and scrape it carefully. If he spraypainted it I doubt he waxed it either, one more beating shouldn't matter.

Exactly. It was cheap AND it came with gear. You don't buy 'cheap', used snowboards. He wasn't specific because he knows it craps, and you are the sorry sucker that bought it.

Dude, you seriously just bought some random snowboard without ever seeing it and without any proper research?

...and what 'gear' did it come with?

Please do not tell me you got your outerwear and goggles used too.

You do know that you can get brand new stuff that didn't sell last season for dirt, dirt cheap? You also get to read about it and see it.
