i've been riding the sick stick for almost 4 seasons now and i also have a powder snake that i never ride. there absolutely is a significant difference in flex and feel between these two boards. they may have the same shape, similar sidecut and eff edge, but in no way do i feel they ride the same on the mountain. the powder snake rides a lot more stiff and is not nearly as playful as the bamboo sick stick. IMO

I agree that there is a difference in feel - but not necessarily in stiffness. Two decks can have similar stiffness, with one (the Sick Stick in this case - just as I wrote above) being much more snappy and having more pop, which makes it feel more playful. I also believe that the Sick Stick weighs less (I do not have a Powder Snake at hand to compare) which might contribute to the feeling of playfulness, as well.
