Hey All,
I currently ride a K2 Playback with Ride EX bindings. I really like the board and picked it up really cheap so all is well with that. I am an intermediate rider that is wanting to get into park riding. The home resort is just a hill with 300' of vertical but has decent terrain parks so next season that is what I am going concentrate on. I'm going on some trips to Vermont and Colorado next season so I can get some real mountain riding in. I am basically a beginner in the park only able to do grabs on small jumps and 50-50 boxes with the occasional boardslide. I've done a few 180's on the small jumps but I'm sure they were awful looking. Anyway, with wanting to concentrate on park riding, should I move up to a board like the Never Summer Evo? Will it make any difference at this point having a better board like that over my Playback? Should I just save my money and quit asking stupid questions? I realize it is about 90% rider, but if a board like the Evo will help me progress faster, I will definitely buy one. Let me know what you think. Thanks, Jason |
