Thanks for the info on the joystick!

I will look for the antler and sherlock first and then the joystick. I'll go for a size 157? Which binding do you recommend?

Do you want stiff or soft binding or in the middle?

High end or middle price?

I've been very happy with the cartels stiffness wise. Price is not the biggest issue, but it would be nice to have a choice between a mid- and high price

I just ordered a Sherlock 154 off of Dogfunk yesterday ($300 shipped).

Eventually, I'll have to buy a EST binding... maybe a Mission binding... not sure yet.

I'd say stick with cartels then, Burton's other stiff binding is the diode, über stiff, über light, but also their most expensive. I love mine but they were pricy.

Great advice! I also hear that some people like malavitas and genesis. Would cartels still be a better choice?

Cartels are stiffer than those two. If you want a high end binding with medium stiffness genesis would be it. Malavitas are softer than genesis. If you want a stiff binding cartels or diodes.
