Crack on edge

The hairline crack on my board is way narrower than these but it reaches the sidewall and the base just exactly like how these do.

Luckily the edge still holds firmly on the sidewall and the base

So what should I do to prevent further deterioration?

nothing you can do really besides shred it till it breaks.
