Need to de-tune?

So i just bought a new 2009 atomic hatchet 'cause i wanted a stick to screw around with (nudge nudge). It says it comes with a 2.5 DEGREE PARK BEVEL. Do i need to detune this board or do i just wax and i'm set to ride?

don't detune your board...
i took my friends advice and detuned my board..
sure its fun at first because it rides much smoother down the slopes but when you hit ice, and you will, you'll wish you never detuned it... granted.. i may have went overboard with the detuning...

also you shouldn't need to wax it. New boards come factory waxed.
