Never Summer Legacy Opinions?

So I am shopping for a new board because i want something new and mine is three years old. Im thinking bout the Never Summer Legacy in the 159 or 161. wide version, paired up with some union forces. I think it would be good for what i do, which is groomers, and a little bit of park. Im not big on rails so im not looking for a jib board. im always looking for natural features to pop off of, and i like to hit the jumps in the park. Im basically looking for something that is a nice all mountain board that is a little bit more playful than my current board, but isnt going to buckle off the jumps. From what i know already which is a bit it seems like a good choice. My main question is waist width the board has 264mm width, would that be good for my size 13 feet? that is one thing i don't know much about... Basically i wanted to know what you guys thought of the setup for what i want to do.

Im 6'3 bout 225lbs and again i got size 13 feet.

My current board is a 166 and is cambered, and ill be keeping it but i want to jump into the rocker game. What do you guys think? The reason im sizing down so much is my current board is very hard to make super tight turns, and is stiff as a rail, i want to try something that will be a little more maneuverable.

For what it's worth...the 26.2 waist on my old 2007 legacy 156 was a bit too wide for my size 11's. My current board has a 25.5 waist and it seems close to perfect with the very same size 11 burton sabbaths.

at your size & weight and considering that you're not really looking for a freestyle board I'd probably stick with the 161. Dropping a few cm's like that should make the board a little more maneuverable for ya.

My first board was a 164w with a 262 mm waist and I didn't have any major overhand issues with size 15 boots. I think you'd be fine.

Get the 161 based on your size and weight. I have the 159 and I'm 6'0 200lbs w/ 11.5 boots. The width is fine, I plan on going smaller next year, but I wouldn't go smaller than 159 with the Legacy. I have found some other boards where they are smaller 157/158 with the same or greater effective edge that I would consider for a shorter board.

yeah, im considering both, right now... For the 25 days im projecting to get next year i definately want to get the right setup. I got 14 this year, and missed all of december and january. So it should be money well spent. Thanks again for the help. If anyone else has opinions feel free the butt in!

Though contrary to the replies in this thread, there are actually more than just Michiganders in this forum. We just tend to post-stalk each other.

I agree with the guys btw, 161 will be good and the Legacy is the width you want.
