I'm considering buying a Lobster Jib or a Park board. But I'm in doubt because I don't know which size I should buy, because of my 11 boot or does it matter? Another question is I like urban jibbing but also all mountain, which one would you recommend?
i'd recommend park board for sure if you are thinking all mountain, mine handles everything i can put it through.
the jib board is really soft, and although i've definitely put it to the test on the mountain, if i had to pick one for that style of riding it would be the park board hands down. jib board is really if you're just going to destroy it on rails and use it only in the street or park. it's REALLY fun to butter and do weird shit on, but it's not really for hauling too much ass down steeps.
about the boot, don't worry about it. i'm a size 10, ride -12º / 12º and have plenty of room on my 151. with an 11 boot, as long as you're not at 0º and have those pointy boots from 3ball style dancing you should have plenty of room
Thanks a lot for the replies guys!
I Think I'll buy a 151 Jib board because I live in Denmark which is a very flat country. Our highest hill (we have no mountains) is only 180m above the sea, so the only fun I'll get of a snowboard is killing it in the streets!
For your kind of riding I would definitely go with the lobster jib. Also, the bataleon disaster is the exact same thing as the lobster jib. Just a different color. The TBT in both boards will be perfect for the streets but don't try and go overboard with your presses. The nose and tail are a little unstable for presses.
