Board help? Rome Artifact 1985 rev cam?

I'm looking for a new board this season and need some opinions. First off I'm mostly an all mountain rider intermediate-advanced. I can hold my own anwywhere on the mountain just not pulling off any big park tricks at this time. My current board that I've been riding is a Volkl Coal. Looking for the best all mountain/freeride I can find for around $400.

I had been looking at the 09 Rome Artifact 1985 reverse cam, but I'm not sure thats the board for me being that its more suited for the park. I had read reviews saying it was a great board also for freeride though. not sure what reverse cam will do for allmountain riding.

So best allmountain boards for around $400 inter-advanced rider???

new to the board thanks ahead of time for ur opinions

the artifact is not what ur looking for the thing is a noodle meant only for jibbers. if u want reverse camber id look into the neversummer sl-r or a lib trs btx. WIthout reverse camber, id say the rome anthem is also a good choice. If you wanna keep it under 400 you can try to find last years models.

Go with the Rome anthem if you ride almost no park. Go with the Rome agent if you hit the park quite a bit. Both are great all mountain boards, but the agent is more park orientated. I can't help you out if you decide to go with a reverse camber. I have no experience with them. Just try and find last years board.

There is a wonderful feature on these forums that allows you to search for threads/posts on what you need to look up. My advice. It will do you a lot of good. There are a lot of threads on what the best all mountain boards are.

Check the Forum Substance, a beefed up Youngblood. Capita Mid Life Arist, its last years TJ pro model, or the Capita FCG for something that will be a little easier in deeps.

Snowboarding Is...
