I am interested in getting a 2008 Atomic Hatchet for park use. I already have a Palmer Strike 155 cm (I outgrew it a bit) that I use for powder, all mountain, trees, etc.
I'm 5'11", 165 lbs (I plan to gain ~10 lbs by the 09/10 season), boot size 12. This will be my 11th year riding. I haven't spent too much time in the park. Just some small/medium-sized jumps and rails. I want to get a board that will allow me to have a good time in the park and the rest of the mountain when I go local (Big Bear), and I'll use my Palmer when I go to Mammoth, Colorado, or Utah. I can't decide if I should get the Hatchet in a 153 or 156. I can't find any size/weight recommendations on Atomic's website. I have read the width is either 24.9 or 25.5. Does anyone know what the width is on a 153 or 156, and if my boot size will fit fine? I will be getting it from evogear.com if they have it in stock, or Surf The Earth. Thanks, Brian |
