I just got back from trying on a butt-load of boots on and ended up getting a pair of Vans Encores, size 11. What would be the minimum board width one could use with a boot this size using the normal stance? The board I am scoping out has a 25.5 waist on it. Would this be a bit on the narrow side?

That would be pushing it. I have a size 12 boot and I still ride my agent with a 25.5 waist. I ride with a duck stance to help eliminate toe drag, and its my style. So you should be good with a minimum board waist of 25.5

Good to know. It's either a NS SL-R or Legacy-R. I'm leaning towards the SL if I can pull it off in the width department.
