how does magnetraction effect carving? is it harder because you stick on the snow better?

Depends on how you carve. If you're skidding turns and the board kicks out on you on icey surfaces it grips better. I've found with me when I rail a carve hardcore it does 2 things it either grips so tight that it won't uninitiate from the carve or else when really kicking in the tail on a hard carve it buckles and washes out.
