what are these called?

someone from church gave me his old skis and board, boots, bindings, and a helmet. can anyone help me with the following:
(i will post pics as soon as i figure out how)

1) they look like skis... but they're smaller. maybe only 2ft long?
a) what are they?
b) are they good?
c) i'm not much of a skier, how much are they worth?
... all i see are: Scorpion Snowjams.. 75TT

2) board. similar questions
the markers/words i see are:
Salomon 160 Definition Made in France
the boots for these say: Salomon Xwave 8.0 Carbonlink Flex Sensifit 3D buckle

thanks for all your help!

they are my size so i can keep them, but i'm trying to raise funds for a disaster relief trip i have coming up in july.

They're called snowblades, they're the rollerblades of the ski resort.

Snow blades? How are they different from regular skis?
Would they be easier to use?

They are snowblades, and a lot easier to ride...!!! But they are still skis

We have a blade day every season where i live, where all the snowboarders i know take a day out towards the end of the season to ride blades, for no other reason but to dress up, act stupid, make fools of yourselves and fall over lots...!!!

They can be a hell of a lot of fun, but it is not snowboarding, and it is only one day a year...

Remember that NONE of these people SKI...

Worth is subjective, and i have no idea what that would be over there... But i would be keeping them for a little bit of fun. And putting a little cash into the fund myself so i could...

Sorry bro, but to say that none of those people ski is not exactly correct. Maybe they don't choose to ski, but they can all ski.

None of them have ever learnt to ski on SKIS, they all started as kids on snowboards, and only do snowblades 1 day a year, there is a difference, well in my mind anyway... Haha

I am guessing that it looks like they can ski for sure, but they are not skiers is what i am saying, they ALL participate in snowboard teaching, as part of KIF snowboard school, and they all compete certainly at the local and some national level on snowboards.

I just don't see them as "skiers" but as "snowboarders...!!!
