Default 12 yr Skier - 5 year boarder - This is what I bought... Rate What I got

My first post. First off I have been skiing for 12 years. My gear for that consisted of custom molded Salomon Race boots. K2 Parabolics from 2 years ago and K2 bindings... Forget model. They are stored in my garage. Well I got bored on the skis. One too many bowls and 1 too many deep powder runs and was time to switch. Snowboarding looked fun!

So I rented some gear. They gave me a k2 board/step in bindings/airwalk boots. That was 5 years ago. 1/2 day on bunny hill and I was running blues. This past season I got all Head equipment and my arch was dead and had horrible heel lift and the board sucked and the bindings were either too tight and toes got cold but I could turn on too loose and I couldn't turn but my feet were warm! What to do?

Buy my own stuff... Here is what I got. I am 6ft 200lbs. I would say I am intermediate and I rarely do tricks. If anything a 360 with a grab if I see a jump on a blue or black run. I don't hit pipes or rails etc.

Also Keep in mind I only board resorts. Snowmass is my favorite and I will be there 1 week in December and 1 week in Febuary. Also gonna break down and drive up to North Carolina and try Sugar Mountain. Supposedly it is "decent"

Forum Takedown Sz 13

Mountain Hardwear jacket - Didn't need stuff for jackets/pants. I have enough North Face to outfit this forum but I wanted something new

Vans Pants

Dakine Heli S Pack - I HOPE this will be comfortable on the lifts

So how do I look? Next year I will upgrade the bindings I think but these were less than 100 shipped and the reviews were all good except one person said they were hard to get latched if it was "really cold"

I take negative and positive equally well!!

Nice to meet you guys and thanks for the input!

Those boots are fresh. Love the disco moon boot style.

For the boots, if those fit you, go for it. I have a feeling the M3 is going to be pretty soft for your weight, and what you like to ride though...

I tried them on locally and they felt great Nice and snug but not tight!

We shall see about the board.

I also am 10-15lbs over my target weight. In the process of dropping off pounds. After College baseball was over I kind of slacked off
