Binding selection help!?? - Snowboarding Forum

So i picked up a new board:
Lib Tech Skunk Ape MTX 157 Wide
Now i need bindings to go with it I've looked and read so many reviews and other forums and I'm getting confused on what freaking bindings to get. For just about every good post there is a negative on another forum on which to get.

So i was looking at these: I will mostly be doing free riding 5-10% park play mixed in.
I have yet to get my boots also so if you know a pairing that work well throw that out there also.

Union Force
Rome 390
Rome Targas
Burton Cartels

I would go with the Targas. If you plan on doing more park riding in the future, then go with the 390's.

I want to know how that board rides. I was very interested in getting one.

Go with the Targas if you get into park pull the C flex strap out of them and that will soften them up.

yea I had simular needs with bindings and I ordered the targas...bad ass bindings from what I hear, cant wait to test them out this season

Yah i was kinda hesitant with the price but then i figured its going to last me 2-3 seasons if i want it to so that breaks down to 100 a season so that's nothing to be in comfort rather then hating on some other bindings a few weeks after season starts

The targas are a good binding... I like the Union Force/Data better myself but you won't be disappointed in the Targa

In the end i ended up going with the Union Force i got a better deal on them..

ditto. I'm looking for more park and freestyle usage. deciding between cartels and union forces. anyone have any input that has ridden both? or any suggestions for other similar bindings? TIA
