What difference would it make to use a 149 or say a 155?

the smaller the board the easier it will be to turn and spin, but if you get it to small it starts to get a little hard to control.

So you think that 149 would be too small?

You also have to gauge your interests. If you want to go fast, a longer board stays stabler at high speed. A shorter board is easier to turn and do tricks with. I'd say for your height/weight the ideal size would be 155 cm. That'll be the best for freeride - doing a bit of everything. 149 cm is a bit short - if you're mostly interested in park stuff go with 151 cm.
